Overview

Ghorepani Poon-Hill trek is a short and easy holiday climb that takes you to the beautiful surroundings of Annapurna area. This trek is atypical prevalent among the voyagers particularly trekkers who are searching for a couple days to be close to nature and need to experience nearby culture in Nepal without including in genuine climbs. There is no hazard at all of the high-altitude sicknesses on this trek. Trek through the pleasing Modi waterway valley and reach to the famous viewpoint called Poon-Hill and have incredible sunrise and mountains views.

You will cherish every last-minute locating at awe-inspiring Himalayan Mountain perspectives of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South(7219m), Machhapuchhre (Fish Tail) (6997m), Manaslu and other snow-clad mountains and experience socially rich multi-ethnic towns along the course of trekking.

From Kathmandu, we drive to Pokhara taking after the Prithvi Highway and next morning we drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, trek beginning stage. Leaving Nayapul we will stroll along Modi River going through the woodland of rhododendron and rich Tirkhedhunga town. Following day, we move for 2hrs tough through Ulleri and Banthanti towns and achieve the highest point of Nangethanti Hill. At that point, we will descend from Nangethati to Ghorepani and remain overnight at teahouse. After waking up at the break of first light, we’ll climb to Poon Hill for dawn see over the Himalayan Mountains. From Poon Hill, we stroll down to the teahouse and eat. At that point, we stroll down to Ghandruk town. This is an extremely prominent customary town of Gurung ethnic gatherings of individuals where you can encounter their deep-rooted traditions and culture and connect with the nearby individuals. After spending a night at Ghandruk town we will follow the course to Nayapul and catch the land transport. We meet numerous kindred trekkers up and down the route amid the trek.

Itenarary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)


As soon you arrive in Kathmandu, a representative will pick you up and transfer you to a hotel. We’ll discuss the tour later. In the evening, you’ll be served special dinner that introduces Nepali food culture.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu


As morning rises, we explore the entire city of Kathmandu visiting different religious and historical sites including Pashupatinath Temple, Soyambhunath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square. We’ll buy the required equipment and prepare for the tour. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 3: Drive to Pokhara (Optional: Flight) (800m)


Early in the morning, we drive towards Pokhara on the bank of Trishuli River with the beautiful mountain view by its side. You can also reach Pokhara by flight that depends on your choice. After you rich in Pokhara, you can see the beautiful views of mountains including Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and others. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 4: Drive to Nayapul, Trek to Tikhedhunga (1540m)


After an early breakfast in the morning, we drive towards Nayapul where we begin our trek towards Tikhedhunga. We’ll visit the entire village of Tikhedhunga and stay overnight in a hotel.

Day 5: Trek to Ghorepani (2,750m/9,020 ft) 6-7 hours


We continue our trek towards Ghorepani through the forests of rhododendron and pine. We’ll observe different cultural villages in the way. Overnight in Ghorepani.

Day 6: Trek to Tadapani (2,700m/8,860ft) via Poonhill: 6 - 7 hours


We walk through the steep landscape towards Tadapani via PoonHill. We can see the majestic mountain views of the Annapurna Mountain Range from Poon hill along with the beautiful local villages. Overnight in Tadapani.

Day 7: Trek to Ghandruk (1940m/6360 ft): 3 - 4 hours


The next day, we descend towards Ghandruk which a large village is actually quite and offers the exciting views of Annapurnas.  Overnight in Ghandruk.

Day 8: Ghandruk to Pokhara: 4 hours trek and 1-hour drive


The next day, we descend towards Ghandruk which a large village is actually quite and offers the exciting views of Annapurnas.  Overnight in Ghandruk.

Day 9: Drive to Kathmandu (Optional: Flight)


The next day, we drive towards Kathmandu. You can also reach Kathmandu by flight that depends on your choice. You can do some shopping in Kathmandu in the evening. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 10: Final departure


Today, our tour comes to an end. After an early breakfast in the morning and hotel checkout, a representative will help you with your final departure.

  • Nepal entry visa; you can obtain the visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu (Tourist Visa with Multiple Entries for 15 days can be obtained by paying USD 25 or equivalent foreign currency. Similarly, Tourist Visa with Multiple Entries for 30 days and 90 days can be obtained by paying USD 40 and 100 respectively. Please bring 2 copies of passport size photos.)
