Overview
Muktinath, antique Hindu temple of God Vishnu and it is a fascinating sacred site in Nepal for both Hindu and Buddhists which is situated about 18km northeast of Jomsom at the elevation of 3800m, at the foot of the Thorong La mountain pass in Mustang, Nepal. The main shrine, designed in Pagoda style symbolizes the religious symbiosis between Buddhists and Hindu.
